Writers’ Collective member Kerry Ryan launches Vs., a collection of poems about boxing, Thursday, November 4th at 8pm at McNally Robinson Booksellers (Prairie Ink Restaurant).

Vs., published by Anvil Press, is a collection of poems chronicling a foray into the world of amateur boxing by a shy, bookish woman you’d never expect could hit someone in the face.

Kerry Ryan lives and writes in Winnipeg. Her first collection of poetry, The Sleeping Life, was published by The Muses’ Company in 2008 and nominated
