Journals

Below is a partial list of Canadian literary journals that accept submissions. Each entry includes a link to the journal’s website (click on the title), a list of what it accepts, and a note on where in Winnipeg you can borrow or buy the journal.

You’ll save yourself a certain amount of time and effort – and rejection slips – by doing your research beforehand to find out what kind of work each journal publishes, and focusing on those that seem to include writers like you. It doesn’t have to be complicated – just read a couple issues and follow each publication’s submission guidelines closely. Good luck!
