Writing the Week of May 16th

Sheesh is anyone else exhausted out there? We had a beautiful weekend here in the ‘peg and all that sun can get a girl tired! But it hurts SO good.

I remember when I was around 16, I took a break from my angsty love lorn prose and wrote a poem called Winnipeg in Spring. The only line I remember is “None is more a land relieved as Winnipeg in Spring!” I used to write like that, all antiquated-like, thought it sounded smart.

So how about you out there? Anyone have a good spring poem? Or spring-as-analogy piece of writing? Anyone willing to share it here??
