Ah, the Classics… now with Demons.
I’m not going to lie. Pride and Prejudice annoyed the heck out of me. I don’t think there was a single person in that book that I didn’t want to throttle at one point or another. I know I’m not alone in thinking this… because if I was, these books never would have been created.
A bunch of the classics are getting an overhaul, geared towards making them fresh, funny and scary. Here are three:
They're coming for you, Elizabeth. They want your spicy, spicy brains!
Because no one is more sensible than a sea monster.
Um...No Comment.
My question is, do you agree with brightening up the classics with a little dark comedy or do you think that these stories are better left untainted by the evil of zombies, androids, and sea monsters?

Funny how this affects one . . . I have never been a Jane Austen fan so tend to shrug when I see her books being tinkered with, but, to tamper with Tolstoy–unforgiveable!
