Speaking Volumes! Featuring Jake MacDonald and Ariel Gordon

Saturday, May 7th, 2011 at Fort Gibralter in historic St. Boniface is Speaking Volumes, Prairie Fire’s annual fundraiser.

It’s a fantastic night of literary entertainment, hatchet throwing and food!

This year’s readers are poet Ariel Gordon and novelist Jake McDonald, whose young adult novel Julianna and the Medicine Fish was chosen to be this years ‘Manitoba Reads’ book!

Tickets are $65 (are partially tax deductible) and are available through Prairie Fire.

Cocktails & Hatchet throwing at 6:00, Dinner at 7:00, Readings at 8:00, Silent & Rainbow Auctions to follow.
